Please fill out this form to register for the Peep Into Poetry contest at Illinois Wesleyan University brought to you by the IWU Classics Club and Eta Sigma Phi. This contest will feature hand-made dioramas displaying a scene from Greek or Roman myth and poetry.

Registration Must Be Completed By 4:00pm on Friday March 8, 2013.
Karen Schmidt will have the Peeps in her office 201A at Ames Library. Registered contestants can pick up their Peeps in her office during regular office hours 9 am-4:30 pm

The contest will be held in the Ames Library on Thursday March 21, 2013 at 2:00pm for the teams and individual categories and the Grand Prize Winner will decide the faculty/staff winner.

Dioramas must be brought to Ames by 12 o'clock noon on the 21 of March and will remain on display for one week.

Specifications:
Size of Diorama: Must use a shoebox turned on its side, no larger than men's boot-size
box: 16" x 12" x 7". The scene must fit primarily inside the shoebox, but can extend 3"
along the front (only) of the box. The box is the "stage." You may not alter or extend the
size of the box. You may cover the box with decorative material such as cloth, felt, or
construction paper.

Materials: One package of Peeps chicks are supplied by Ames library for
free. PEEPS must be used. Any other materials are at your own discretion and expense.
Materials used must not be super messy, perishable, dangerous, or valuable. Electricity
will be available if needed.

Labels: The title and a brief description of your scene must be TYPED on a 4" x 6" index
card. Your name(s) must be TYPED on the back of the card, along with your email
address(es). The card will be placed next to the diorama.
